Jon McKone

Jon grew up in Sanford and attended Lee Senior high school. Afterwards he was off to CCCC to start on an engineering degree, but by a stroke of fate he decided to come volunteer to do set construction in the beginning of the 2003-2004 season. Since then he has worked on every show as a contract carpenter and running crew. In October 2005, Jon was proud to accept the staff position of Facilities Manager. Around the theatre you can find Jon in the shop constructing the new set, hanging and focusing lighting instruments, cleaning up the green room, fixing an over flown toilet, and about anything left to the imagination. Some of the favorite shows that Jon has worked on include: Frankenstein A Modern Prometheus, Picasso at the Lapine Agile, and The Rainmaker. Also Jon has seen a little stage time as Eddie in The Sunshine Boys  and Bill the Troll in the Kid stuff production of The Hobbit. Away from the theatre you can find Jon tinkering with computers, watching his favorite cartoons, or in the bar with a couple of buddies. Also, ladies act now because this hot commodity is currently single.
