Improvisation for Adults February 19-March 21st Adults 18 and Up Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm
$150If you have ever seen the show "Whose Line Is It Anyway", then you have seen short form comedy improvisation. Now you can learn the techniques and theatre games that have made this one of the
most popular shows on television. This 6 week workshop will focus on improvisation techniques and theatre games. Whether you are a seasoned actor or beginner, improvisation is great way to improve your
understanding of character, relationships, objects, and working with others on stage. Your instructor for the class will be Tom Dalton who spent 4 years as a member and co-director of the
professional improve troupe the "We're Not You Mother" players. The group, which was based out of Columbia, SC, performed all over the southeast as well as recorded an improv segment for MTV. Due

Adult Acting Workshop April 7th – May 12th Adults 18 and Up Saturdays from 12pm-3pm $150A friendly, humorous and non-threatening class for anyone who
loves acting and the theater. This introduction to acting covers a smattering of theatrical traditions, exercises and methods. Class focus is on individual style, creative characterization, concentration, ensemble work
and theater games. Exercises range from monologues, improvisation and scene work. A great class for beginners or those wishing to further hone their skills.
The program is designed with several goals in mind. It will be invaluable for:
- Business professionals who wish to have more confidence when making
presentations or speaking in front of peers
Amateur actors who wish to develop techniques for doing an eye-and-ear catching audition (and land that lead role next time!)
Aspiring thespians who wish to become involved in the local theatre community
