Temple Theatre is a professional regional theatre offering equity and non-equity contracts during the twelve show season. Auditions are held each year at the theatre as well as the South Eastern Theatre Conference. Temple will also accommodate actors on an appointment basis.

The James HouseGuest Artists of Temple Theatre stay here in Sanford at a lovely home donated during the 2011-2012 season by the James family, one of Temple’s longtime supporters. We work hard to improve their “home-away-from home” space and can always use your help to make this happen. We continue to seek donations of good quality furniture, linens, appliances, electronics and toiletries. Also, our Board of Directors and other volunteers either buy or make food for our out-of-town actors to make them feel at home. If you would like to donate items for The James House, they can be picked up from your residence or dropped off at the theatre during regular business hours.
