Tim Tyson, son of Rev. Vernon Tyson former pastor at St. Luke Methodist and Jonesboro Methodist Churches, wrote this true story in about a 1970 racially-motivated murder in Oxford, N.C. of a 23-yr-old U.S. Army veteran and subsequent social upheaval: riots, boycotts, marches, and the burning of two tobacco warehouses.
