The musical Footloose, based on the movie released in 1984, follows a young city boy, Ren, as he is forced to move from Chicago to the small, rural town of Bomont.  When Ren learns that dancing has been forbidden by law in his new hometown, he leads a revolution to bring dancing back to Bomont at any cost!
