If you're interested in being part of the Temple Theatre family either behind the scenes or in the office, please become one of our volunteers! We have the following opportunities:
Usher: All of our mainstage shows have reserved seating and as an usher you'll act as hosts and show our patrons to their seats. You need to show up one hour prior to show time and your duties also include tearing tickets and handing out playbills. You are invited to stay to watch the show free of charge and also to assist anyone moving around during the show.
Shop Work: Good at carpentry, set painting, or tearing things down during strike? We would love to have your skills and extra time dedicated to our in house set construction.
Costume Shop: Hand sewing, sewing machine expertise or costume organizing are all needed for each production. Come join our sewing circle!
Backstage: There's a ton of stuff to do backstage during performances. Props, stage management, costume dresser, running crew. Get a behind the scenes look at live Theatre! It's never boring.
Lights: We need additional help with hanging and focusing lights during our technical rehearsals. Must not be afraid of heights!
Actors: We always welcome new local talent to join us onstage. Please read the audition information or contact the Theatre.
Office Volunteers: Come and be a part of the "other side" of the Temple Theatre. What could be more fun than spending an afternoon with friends stuffing envelopes or labeling? Other opportunities include database entry and general clerical duties.
