Advertising & Sponsorship

SPONSORSHIP

Temple Theatre is the number one year-round attraction in Lee County. Last year, attendance for our Main Stage shows averaged 3,000. Sponsoring a show ensures that your brand is front and center for everyone who sees that particular show. Additonally, your brand is included in all of our advertising - internet, print, and radio throughout Lee County, Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, Cary, and Raleigh. Our sponsors' inclusion in those ads gives them exposure in markets where they might otherwise never be seen. For sponsors whose package includes a listing on the marquee, we guarantee it will be in place no less than one week prior to the show opening and then throughout the entire show run - that's at least a month's worth of ad placement in our premium downtown location. Show sponsorship also entitles you to a block of tickets for your Sponsor Night. Use them to entertain clients, bring a big group of friends, donate them to a local charity to use as a fundraiser. Whatever you come up with, we'll do our best to accommodate.

The cutoff for sponsorships is August 21, 2015. For more information, please contact the Temple Theatre's Director of Marketing & Business Development, Chris deLambert, at (919) 774-4512, Ext 221 or send by email at temple.sanford@gmail.com.

PLAYBILL ADVERTISING

The 2015-16 Main Stage Season Playbill will be made available to every theatre patron that attends a show. Our annual print run is 12,000. Inclusion in the playbill gets your brand in front of our audience at every show throughout the season. Our average patron is 55 years old with discretionary income. Patrons come from as far as 70 miles away to attend shows at the Temple.

SOUNDS ON STEELE SPONSORSHIP

For one day, Sanford, North Carolina will become the center of the music universe.   Sep 12, 2015, two downtown stages will play host to over a dozen bands at Sounds on Steele.  Headlining will be bluegrass icons, Rodney Dillard & The Dillards, who have been entertaining crowds across the country for over 50 years.  They hold a special place in the hearts of North Carolinians for their appearances as "The Darlings" on The Andy Griffith Show from 1963 to 1966.  The Dillards are also known for being among the first bluegrass groups to electrify their instruments.  They are considered to be pioneers of Southern California folk rock, country rock, and progressive bluegrass, and they directly influenced artists such as The Eagles and The Byrds.

Rounding out the Coca Cola Stage lineup are Tommy Edwards & The Bluegrass Experience, Sweet Potato Pie, Sideline, and Samantha Casey & The Bluegrass Jam.

On Wicker Street, the Buchanan's Music Stage will feature an eclectic mix of artists from around the region.  The lineup includes Faith Bardill & Back Row Saints, Gary Mitchell, Britton Buchanan, Rob Matthews, Track VII, Sevryn Schaller, and Curtis Cash & The Family.

There will be plenty to eat and drink, highlighted by tents featuring the Bombshell Beer Company and Bear Creek Brews.  Tickets are $20.  Gates will open at 10am, and the show will run from 10:30am to 6pm..  Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

The intent is for this year is to draw 1,500 to the event.  In future year's we'd like this to become a multi-day festival with additional stages.  Sponsorships for this year's Sounds on Steele are available at two levels.

$2,500 - Businesses will be included in all advertising (radio, magazine, newspaper, and online media).  Each business will have a 5 foot full-color banner hung from the roof of one of the buildings adjacent to the Coca Cola Main Stage.  Businesses will receive 10 tickets to dispose of as they see fit.  Businesses will also be given right of first refusal and guaranteed the $2,500 prime sponsorship rate for the next three years.

$1,000 - Each business will have a 5 foot full-color banner hung from the roof of one of the buildings adjacent to the Coca Cola Main Stage.  Businesses will receive 10 tickets to dispose of as they see fit.  Businesses will also be given right of first refusal and guaranteed the $1,000 secondary sponsorship rate for the next three years.
