Ambassadors & Volunteers

Become a Temple Theatre Ambassador
Temple Ambassadors help promote shows and represent the theatre at various business and civic events. Each month the Temple Ambassadors meet for dinner at a local restaurant as they meet the cast and learn about the current show. Ambassadors are encouraged to distribute complimentary tickets. Becoming a Temple Ambassador is a great way to support the Arts and network with many businesses and organizations in the surrounding counties. Volunteering
We recognize and encourage community involvement in helping to make the Temple Theatre an important cultural resource and the number one year-round tourist attraction in Lee County. Please contact us about board membership, Temple Ambassador program, backstage tours, creative talks after performances, outreach programs, student matinees and volunteer opportunities.

Ushering (receive one free admission to the production)

Assist patrons with their seat locations and hand out the Playbill to all guests.

Box Office Volunteer

Help work the Will Call window and distribute tickets before the performances.

Prop and Costume Shop Volunteer

Volunteer hourly, weekly or monthly to help keep the Shop organized. Help sort and inventory the donations Temple receives of vintage clothing, furniture and accessories. Also, volunteers with sewing skills are appreciated; join our sewing circle!

Production Volunteer

There are many ways to help as a production volunteer from creating and painting the set, lighting and technical support, carpentry and breaking down the set.

Office Volunteer

Come and be a part of the "other side" of the Temple Theatre. What could be more fun than spending an afternoon with friends stuffing envelopes, labeling, database entry and general clerical duties?

Backstage Volunteer

There's a ton of stuff to do backstage during performances. Props, stage management, costume dresser, running crew and so much more. Get a behind the scenes look at live theatre.
