SUMMER YOUTH CONSERVATORY
Each summer, Temple Theatre conducts two Summer Youth Conservatories. Young people ages 8-18 are given instruction in dance, voice, and drama. Each conservatory runs for three weeks and culminates in a full musical production on the Temple stage. Registration for the 2014 Summer Conservatory starts at 10am on April 9th. Demand for slots is very great, so in the interest of fairness, we do not accept advance registration. For more information, click here.
THE RISING STARS
The Temple hosts a 3 week summer camp for children under the age of 8. It is a great way to introduce them to the performing arts. Students are given instruction in a positive, wholesome environment. During the session, classes are conducted from 8:30 to 11:30. At the completion of the course, students perform a recital to show off the skills they have developed. The next session of The Rising Stars will be in July 2014. For details and registration information, contact Peggy Taphorn at (919) 774-4512 Ext 223 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
A thirty minute high energy song and dance routine featuring musical numbers from Temple's current season are performed in the Sanford-area by local teenagers who are led under the direction of Temple Theatre Directors and special instructors. The Temple Teens are highly acclaimed and have become one of the favorite additions to major local events.

While our tuition prices are among some of the lowest in the country, there still are some who cannot afford to participate. The Youth Scholarships provide a way for as many young people to experience the Arts. As in years past, we will continue to provide as many scholarships as possible for children needing financial aid.
