Temple TeensA thirty minute high energy song and dance routine featuring musical numbers from Temple's current season are performed in the Sanford-area by local teenagers who are led under the direction of Temple Theatre Directors and special instructors. The Temple Teens are highly acclaimed and have become one of the favorite additions to major local events.

The Summer Youth Conservatory is an opportunity for young people ages 8-18 to come together for a three week camp culminating in a full musical production on the Temple stage. Registration starts April 17th for two conservatories: one in June, and one in July.

The Winter Youth Conservatory is open to upper middle and high school students interested in studying Shakespeare's language and performance style. Students learn how to break down and understand verse and imagery, mounting a full-scale production of a Shakespearean classic on the Temple stage.

While our tuition prices are among some of the lowest in the country, there still are some who cannot afford to participate. The Youth Scholarships provide a way for as many young people to experience the Arts. As in years past, we will continue to provide as many scholarships as possible for children needing financial aid.
Theatre Appreciation ClassAt Central Carolina Community College, a new Theatre appreciation class, DRA 111, will be taught by Temple Theatre's Thomas Dalton at Sanford's local community college (www.cccc.edu).
